Meet your Neighbors and Hear Their Stories
Monty Sayers and his wife Marisol, were one of the first families to move into Waterset when it opened in 2013. The concept of a master-planned, family-centric community appealed to them right away, but it was the beautiful scenery and multitude of outdoor activities that clinched their decision to become Waterset residents.
“We live a very active lifestyle and the community fit our needs to a tee,” recalls Monty.
Monty, Marisol, and their kids take frequent walks and bike rides along the trails that weave throughout the community. The tranquil natural scenery connects Waterset’s lakes, ponds, wetlands, parks and neighborhoods, and will eventually link to the greater Hillsborough County regional trail system. Monty also frequents the outdoor fitness stations located throughout the community.
The family also makes frequent use of the community’s amenities, such as the pool and splash pads which keep them all entertained for hours.
Since moving to Waterset, the Sayers have realized that their needs have not only been met, but exceeded. They have seen the community’s vision come to fruition. Community events such as Movie Nights on the Lawn, Concert for a Cause and monthly Wine Down Fridays at The Landing Café helped introduce them to neighbors who have become lifelong friends.
“Waterset is a wonderful neighborhood to be a part of,” adds Monty. “We are very happy we moved here!”
