Q: Who is your Lifestyle Director at Regency?
A: Meet your Lifestyle Director, Heather Pitt! She has plenty of experience working within the industry, as she was a property manager at a Condominium high rise for several years prior to stepping into this role. However, she stepped away from that as she wanted to be in a more fun and rewarding environment, and being a Lifestyle Director is the perfect fit!
Q: What is a Lifestyle Director and what is their role within Regency?
A: The Lifestyle Director organizes and hosts social and recreational activities within the community to ensure residents are involved in a vibrant and engaging living environment. The events and activities will be tailored to the individual communities' wants and needs, and she is always open to suggestions of new activities! The Lifestyle Director wants you to feel a sense of belonging and community within Regency, and that is what the goal of these activities are.
Q: What types of activities and events can residents look forward to?
A: Heather shares that she is all ears and wants to listen to what the residents are looking for within the community. She is always open to suggestions and wants to plan activities that residents really enjoy. Pickleball is a fun activity that seems to be blowing up for people of all ages and since there will be plenty of pickleball courts at The Cove, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for various events surrounding the sport. You can also look forward to a variety of other health and wellness activities such as water aerobics, yoga and meditation. Other activities she is interested in hosting include sewing, painting, pottery, card games, book clubs, cooking classes and more. If there is something that you really enjoy that you don't see mentioned, don’t forget, her door is always open for new ideas!
Q: How will residents hear about the events that are happening at Regency?
A: The activities calendar will be sent out in an e-blast every month and they will also be posted on the residents HOA portal. Stop in Heathers office too, if you're passing by, she will always have the latest and greatest on what's to come!
Q: How can residents contact you if they have ideas or suggestions for future events?
A: Heathers office is currently located in the Regency Sales Center at 5561 Freestone Circle. However, once the amenity, The Cove, is completed, hopefully by early fall, her office will be located right at the front of the building, and to the right. Q: What makes Regency at Waterset special and sets it apart from other communities?
A: Regency is very well developed, and you can tell they truly had the residents in mind. The amenity, The Cove, is truly a state-of-the-art facility and every space was created so beautifully. From the fitness studio to the open grass areas in the yard to the library, there is so much space to do pretty much any activity you could possibly imagine. Heather is so excited about the entire space and is ready to utilize all areas for community activities and events for residents to really get the most out of their active adult Florida lifestyle. Having an onsite Lifestyle Director just adds on another level to how amazing this community is and shows that they truly want their residents to thrive in a vibrant neighborhood.
